Delaware Botanic Gardens Tree Giveaway: Join the Tree for Every Delawarean Initiative (TEDI)

We are excited to announce a special opportunity to bring nature into your own backyard! On October 12, starting at 9 a.m., the Delaware Botanic Gardens will host a free native tree giveaway as part of the Tree For Every Delawarean Initiative (TEDI). This collaborative effort, led by DNREC and the Delaware Forest Service, aims to promote environmental sustainability by increasing tree coverage across Delaware. Don’t miss your chance to receive a free tree for your home or community!
The giveaway will continue until all 250 trees have been distributed. Be sure to arrive early, as trees are available on a first-come, first-served basis!
Open to all Delaware residents. Each vehicle will receive one free tree. No purchase necessary, optional entry to the gardens is $15 per person 16 and under are free. Members are admitted free.
