Downsizing -Eek! With the Georgetown Public Library

DOWNSIZING ... EEK!

Many of us find ourselves needing to downsize by choice or circumstances: in preparation for a move, clearing out a relative's home, or doing it now so your kids won't have to later.  Whatever the reason, it can be daunting.  How do you approach it? Do it yourself, or hire a professional organizer? Perhaps the most difficult question is WHAT TO DO WITH THINGS YOU DECIDE TO LET GO OF?  Based on her personal experience with downsizing, plus volunteering at Habitat for Humanity Restore and other organizations that rely on donations, Julie McCullough will lead a discussion about downsizing, donating, and recycling.
