South Bethany Pedestrian Safety Event

The Town of South Bethany is designating Friday, July 3, from 10 am to 12:30, as a special time to promote pedestrian safety in our Town.  There are challenges in crossing Route 1 on the way to and from the beach and sharing our streets with bicycles and motor vehicles while being distracted by family, friends, and the beautiful sights.  Therefore, we are partnering with the Delaware Office of Highway Safety to distribute helpful information and to demonstrate best practices.  And you will also learn why SBPD is so strict at enforcing the speed limit through South Bethany.
